Oct. 13th, 2006 06:03 pmIt's homecoming tonight. Parades, old alumni returning, and the general mayhem that is UW vs. Minnesota at homecoming will commence.
In other news, two midterms down, three to go. And two of them are blue book. My hand just can't take all that writing. And I can't find the spider that's in my room. I hate not knowing where creepy bugs are.
I talked with Wilson last night. He decided that I need a hobby, and I want to get back into jewelry-making. Except that I'd love to be able to turn it into more then just a hobby. I'd like to learn metal-working, and maybe a bit about setting stones. I've always loved antique and historical jewelry, and I'd love to be able to do something with making updated historical/ancient jewelry that fits in the modern world, along with my own wire and beadwork.
Who knows? Maybe this is the start of an actual career. I'd just need to know if metalworkers take apprentices, or if there is some degree I need.
And moviefest tonight! Cause we're all to sick to go out and do anything. So movies and warm food and no drunken stupidness, which is good, because it's damn cold out.
