TDK, Fucking awesome
Jul. 20th, 2008 10:26 amOH GOD, OH GOD, OH GOD, THE DARK KNIGHT IS SO GOOD! WHAT AN AMAZING MOVIE, RIGHT?
The acting is all superb, the ideas and debates that the movie makes you think about great, the plot so damn good, I seriously have nothing bad to say about this movie.
Chicago is the perfect city for Gotham. It really has a multilayerd feel about it.
And everything everyone has said about Heath Ledger and the Joker is all true. I think that this is going to become the most iconic version of the Joker ever. Sorry Jack Nicholson, but you've been beat. I already loved Heath before this movie, but this just made my estimation of his acting chops go through the roof. He was such a great man.
Damn, know I really wish I would have done some of that viral marketing stuff.
EDITED FOR MORE COHERANCY: I actually did end up waiting in line for an hour and a half, playing the band game and chatting with strangers. It was pretty fun.
And there were two trailers of note, the Watchmen, which looks just amazing and I'm dying for it to come out already, and The Day the Earth Stood Still, which nearly made me cry, since that is such an awesome movie and THEY ARE GOING TO RUIN IT! WHY, HOLLYWOOD, WHY?
