i HATE prodigal children!!

i have had a great evening, but i am REALLY fucking pissed. not at any of my friends, but at my sister, the prodigal fucking child.

so, this weekend i went to the drive-in with nick, and didn't get to bed till three. and i had to get up at 6:30 that morning for work. but the drive in was great, and CHarlie and the Chocolate Factory is a awesome, but wierd, movie. sunday, went to jacob's house and had a lot of... fun (interesting fun). hey, i got free food!

but my perfect sister almost managed to ruin it all. she wanted to go to oshkosh, which is two hours away from here. of course, she had to take my car, and leave me with the minivan. i had no problem with that, as long as she switched cars at my work before 7pm saturday (she left friday night). i went to the drive-in in jefferson saturday night, and was planning to leave right at seven. sounds easy, huh? my sister had plenty of time to recover on saturday morning from partying friday and still make it back in time for me to have MY car.

the reason why i wanted my car was because i pay for the insurance, i check the fluids and take care of it, and i have been the sole driver of the car for the last two years. also, my sister insisted that i have the car for the movies, since a drive in sucks in a minivan with just two people. she specifically said that she wouldn't make me take the minivan, and promised to be back in time.

yet she calls my work an hour before i'm done and going to go pick nick up and says that she won't be able to make it back in time. i've been pretty good about the car this summer, not putting up a fight and letting her drive it every day to work, losing out on the ability to be independent and hang out with friends.

i didn't care that she took the car to oshkosh, i don't care that SHE gets it every day and i'm stuck with the minivan when my mom doesn't need it. i was even willing to pay for gas. what pissed me off is that she was unable to be considerate enough to get it to me on time AFTER she insisted that i wouldn't be forced to take the minivan. and that's what set this off.

my sister is a self-absorbed brat that acts as if the entire world revolves around her and as if she should never have to inconvenience herself for others. she is the prodigal child, always being rewarded with more no matter how mush crap she does. i lose out on my independence and what i want, and am forgotten, simply because i don't want to be a bigger burden and create more chaos for my parents (she creates way more then her share. every molehill is a mountain with that girl). even if my parents state that one of our TWO harry potter books is for me, she still gets to take it and i'm left in the dust (and i love harry potter, so what she did fucking sucked. i went to the midnight party for OoTP, and had it read by 8 the next morning). even if i'm willing to compromise, wait for things, and just plain deal with the scraps, i still lose out, because i'm not acting as if every minor crisis is the end of the world.

i know this sounds whiny and bitchy, but i just needed to get my anger off my shoulders. i was so pissed saturday night that i was making myself sick, since i had no way to release my frustration.

Hmmm...sounds like something that my sister would do. Yes, sisters can be pricks. Yes, indeed. Usually when my sister was a prick (taking my stuff, ect.), I'd take something of hers and hide it. She didn't know it was me, but hey.
