we loft our beds on our desks and dressers/bookshelves. i know it sounds wierd, but they come with bolts and holes already in them. and are really sturdy.
we get a minifridge with our rooms. think i'll put the tv on top of it. or maybe put the microwave on top of the fridge and move the tv onto the mesh cubes. i wonder if most dorm rooms allow people to have rice cookers? mine never said anything about it, not that it's a common appliance.
about my dorm. liz waters is the only all-female dorm on campus. it has the largest rooms, several tv rooms for movies, free movie and vacuum rental, a kitchen, a huge laundry room (by college proportions), and is about the most central dorm on campus beside the honors dorm. guys can stay over as guests, they just can't live there. i can't believe i got it.
so, a french major? i'm thinking about east asian literature and language, with a certificate (minor) in legal studies. but maybe i'll switch it around depending on how much i like the two. although i have to take at least four semesters of japanese, and my 1st level class is SIX credits! i think i'm going to die with all the studying i'll have.
so, about 29 days until i leave. i can't wait. although i'll miss you too, maybe (grins). at least everyone else will be able to visit me.
