interpol15OH MY GOD, I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR SUPERNATURAL SEASON 1!
1. THE PILOT! Still one of my favorite episodes. Heck, one of my favorite pilots. It's Sam! And Dean! The fight, the brotherly banter, the awkwardness between Sam and Dean. And then the end, where they hit you with Jess. Totally did not see that coming. Such an OHSHI- moment for me.
2. Sam's emo-boy college hair. I'm so obsessed with how it's changed over the seasons, but I love how young and vulnerable it makes him look early on.
3. Pale and sickly Dean in a hoodie and Sam's determination to somehow save him (recurring theme here? nowai!) in "Faith".
4. The fact that the cameraman had a total hardon for Jensen's pretty face for the whole damn season and that the shot at the end of "Bloody Mary" of Dean in the car makes him look like James Dean.
5. Shifter!Dean and Sam, when they're in the sewer. And the fight. And when shifter!Dean sheds. Actually, all of "Skin".
6. Michael from "Something Wicked". Best smart alec kid ever.
7. Sam's vision in "Nightmare", and his subsequent (and only) burst of telekinesis because he has to save Dean.
8. That slow pan up Dean in "Phantom Traveler". So I'm shallow. You'd be too if you saw that ass.
9. The coloring. I love how it's so muted and dark. Not that I love seeing the boys in some color, it's just the lighting and shading 1st season was so awesomely atmospheric, and had that creepy-suspense X-files vibe that's perfect for the show.
10. Dean's sad little phone call to his dad in "Home".
11. Prank wars! So very true.
12. Dean's reaction when Sam says that he's gonna go back to school after the kill the YED. He just looks so heartbroken, and Sam is so obtuse, not realizing that Dean's whole life is built around his family, and how much it's killing him for them to not be together.
13. The "Carry on my Wayward Son" montage. There's just no topping that.
14. The end of "Devil's Trap", when John's yelling at Sam for not killing him, and how it's the most important thing, and Sam just looks at Dean in the mirror and says no. And then...CRASH.
15. Finding John in their hotel in "Shadow". The emotion was thick enough to cut with a knife.
16. "No chick flick moments." "Alright...jerk." "Bitch."
17. "Dean, let me go! It’s still in there!" "It’s burning to the ground! It’s suicide!" "I don’t care!" "I do!"

"I can't do this alone."
"Yes, you can."
"Well, I don't want to."
I don't think there will be a time in my life where I won't be glad for having seen this show.
