What would it look like? Because if it's of Tomrad's face or something, it would be super creepy. But if it was something cool, it might be socially acceptable.
I don't know!! If it's really really subtly empires that is probably ok, but you wanna be careful because they've only been a band since January, which is like 9 months, and who knows how you'll like them in 10 years!
I think as long as they have a deep- and permanent, not of just this moment and your emotions *now*- meaning to you, it's totally ok. But I'd be wary if you're doing it mostly because you love empires and not because the lyrics speak to you and will *forever*- I'm not usually one to caution people overly much on tattoos, but for band tattoos I would say to be a little more careful because (at least in my experience) people rarely like the same band their whole lives!!
I was thinking "I will guide you in the night", since it has a lot of meaning to me about making it through the darkness and my troubles.
And for me, empires is also related to a series of events that I want to commemorate, mostly my getting involved in music more and meeting a whole ton of really good friends. So for me, getting a tattoo that relates to the band will always remind me of this time in my life, and the joy I have surrounding it.
That and I already have a band tattoo, and have no fear of getting another one, because even if I stop listening to the band, it's still there to remind me of a great time in my life.
On my arm, right on the bicep, so it faces inward. I'm actually planning on getting it done on Nov. 15th, on my birthday, and then going down to the show right after.
