(no subject)

Me = worst college student ever. Damn end of the year holidays. I just can't get in the mood to do work, but I know that my grades and application to the jschool hang in the balance. As long as I can get more B's then C's, I'll be okay. This is where acing my Journalism final, Bio final, ILS final, LCA final, and lab final come into play. I think I can manage to ace ILS, Journalism, and maybe my lab and Bio.

On a much better note, IT SNOWED! I can see it all over, even on the other shore of the lake.

And my new speakers kick major ass. I can finally get decent bass and loudness.

Well, I'm off to read some Lippmann, and to work on having an accurate, fair, and balanced account of the two arguments that I'm writing about. Wish me luck!

Testify

I'm angry, young, disenfranchised, and living in a world of hate and oppression.
The government has fucked us over.
It is corrupt and run by criminals.
We have either athiesm or fundamentalism.
By the time we come to power, there will be nothing left.
Our police are judge, jury, and executioners with no one willing to stop them.
They shoot innocent people because they can.
There is rioting in the streets, and murder everyday.
By the time I retire, there will be no security of healthcare for me.
Our generation will be paying for the greed of our parents.
The oil is gone.
The empire is falling.
The poor have no way to get out of it.
The unions are being dissolved.
The workers are being exploited.
There are no more jobs.
Our ideals are gone.
And with them, our hope.
We are calm like a bomb.
