Listening to Bullets and Three Cheers again and trolling eljay for MCR/bandom icons, because I stupidly deleted my old folder of stuff years ago.
Also, I'm highly caffeinated and "working" on a take home exam about Theravada Buddhism, so I'm totally just all over the place right now. Like thinking about how "I'm gonna beat you until candy comes out" is my favorite line ever. AND HOW CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL, YO.
Wondering how many people got rickrolled by eljay on tuesday. It was pretty funny, but old meme is old.
As much as I love living in Madison, the music scene leaves a bit to be desired. As typical of a college town, we have a lot of hipsters etc., and a lot of the music here is indie pop-ish. Good, but not my thing at all. Most of us in the hardcore/metal/punk scenes tend to know the local bands by first name. But we do have an awesome surfpunk band, Pistols at Dawn. Very Tarantino.
I'm thinking about reviving my (old, old, old) MCR fic that I started writing in high school for my creative writing class. I got about 40 pages into it, but that was long before I even knew about the fandom, and I think that with some major rehauling it could be kinda fun. If I can ever find my old copies of it, then I'll give it a whirl.
