interpol15Wow. Sorry that I really haven't been commenting on the comms and on my friends lj's lately, but I've had midterms and shit.
I've just come to a realization about several things about college. All this time (throughout a lot of high school), I always wanted to do something focusing on Japan, because I like the culture and mythology. But now I realize that that is just it. I don't like the language, nor do I want to go business as a minor.
Everything in life that I am passionate about schoolwise is culture, mythology, and literature. The languages that I really like are Russian and Finnish. Europe is my homeland. My culture, my family, my history comes from there, and I've always been incrediby drawn to it.
It's just the pratical part of me has always known that what kind of job can I get with taking classes in Literature, Western and world mythology and history? But if that is my passion, then I guess that the only thing that I can do that will truly make myself happy is to tell my pratical side to STFU.

I'm the same over the whole Finland thing, I've only been twice, but the whole thing just....well, as you can imagine I'd like to live their eventually and I'm starting to learn Finnish, but all the tense really bore me.
