Today is just one of those days.

I love not being at school. Just being home watching cartoons and the History Channel, and occasionally traveling down to Elkhorn, running into acquatinces from high School, finding forgotten handles of brandy in the basement...

I've decided I'm going to focus on legal studies and psych at school. With the proximity to the capital, I have a much better chance volunteering and working with the politicians and some non-profit orgs in the state. My hopeful goal is to maybe work for a non-profit group, or manage to get on the staff of one of our senators or representatives, or a lobbyist group in DC. With wilson looking for international jobs, and my focus on law, politics, and psych, I hope I have a chance. It's what I'm good at, and what I'd like to do, but it's an area that won't take away my love of music and history by making me work with them.

Oy. It'll be interesting to see if I can make it into law school, or if I should do poly sci/paralegal stuff instead.

For once I'm actually excited about the future instead of worrying if I'm going to be able to get a job!

Right now I'm having a great time, but if I ever say that this is the best time of my life, shoot me.

hey sierra! Sorry about everything about not hanging with you, I just got worse and was feeling pretty shitty.

But don't worry! I just found the brandy, I haven't opened it yet. That's cause I'm having a get together with some friends in Elkhorn on thursday, and you're invited. I'm probably going to be staying over, once I check that's it's cool with my rents. I'll probably be driving a friend down, so if you need a ride and can come, just tell me.

Oh, I know that I'll be down there before 6:30 thursday cause we're doing Tai Chi, and then coming back to watch movies, listen to records, and drink (if you want, only a few of us are).

So yeah, I hope that you can come, and I'l see you soon.

Hahaha, it's all good. I understand. Anyhow, I've missed a bit of karate, so if I come, I'll probably come a little later. I wouldn't be able to set out until about 8:00 if that's all good. Sounds like fun!
