So, wasn't feeling all that great about my birthday yesterday cause I was just spending it studying, and most of my friends were either sick or were busy at D&D. But along comes Brittany at 9:15, and we end up deciding to go to the Nitty Gritty and celebrate, despite the hour, the weather, and class.

To make a long story short, Erica, Brittany, Trevor, me, and Wilson all went out at 10 pm to celebrate in the freezing slush. It was great. Totally made my day, and pulled me out of my crappy mood (especially since Wilson was/is sick and made the effort to come anyway). And we had a cake party afterwards back at Liz, and watched TV until 2 am.

The only thing that could have made it better would have been if the other Erica and Randi could have come, but they had just finished D&D. I felt kinda bad for not meeting them at Liz to get my present from them, but I NEEDED to go out with people, not just stay in my dorm.

Note: My roomate (who is pretty cool and altogether laid back) is absolutely fucking INSANE. Our heater's knob is broken, and so we really can't get any heat in our room, and so it's about 5-10 degrees colder then the hallway outside our door. I understand that she doesn't want it to get so hot in our room that opening windows won't help (which happened to some people last year that had their's fixed), but I am fucking FREEZING and I am SICK. It's BELOW ZERO outside, and I literally cannot get warm in my room. I can't deal with this at all, and she might just have to get used to heat if we both want to not get sick (or in my case, sicker) over winter.
