interpol15 | (no subject)

So the lj spotlight made me eager for fall.
Here's a list of the things that I love the best about my favorite season:

-the crisp, cool air
-carving pumpkins
-my birthday
-watching the wind pick up leaves and twirl them around
-layering blankets on my bed
-halloween candy
-the rich colors (it's funny that the greens and florals of spring never have this effect on me)
-breaking out my fall and winter clothing
-seeing my breath fog up at night
-helping my dad cook the turkey on thansgiving morning
-our annual whipped cream fight
-right after coming from outdoors when it's windy and chilly to a warm room and feeling your nose tingle

and

-that sort of general feeling where it's like right after halloween, but right before all the commercials and decorations start for christmas, when just the feeling of the holidays is almost tangible, and everyday until thanksgiving it just gets thicker and thicker feeling until you can almost touch that feeling, and then it's swept up by the christmas crush
