if anybody's not busy friday night, we should get together. i got this photography book on the fashion trends in harajuku from 1997-2002, and its amazing. you HAVE to see it.
anybody read perks of being a wallflower? its a great book. i read it through, just now. it made me realize that all that we can do is to be true to ourselves, no matter what we might think. even if what we are may offend some people, or whatever, the best way to be a real friend is to follow your instinct and your own mind. i need to read the book again. i think i understand the ending, but i need to make sure that my hunch is correct.
all it takes is that perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite...
there's a part at the end of Rocky Horrer, where all the characters have just abandoned the lives that society viewed as acceptable and are singing and dancing, competely living their own lives, free and totally willing to express themselves. and yet they know that their gonna die but they just don't care about what happens to them, because they've fullfilled all the things that the truly wanted.
