So my aunt, my godmother, has terminal cancer and is dying. The best she can hope for is a few years with radiation and chemo. There's a really good chance that she won't see me get married.

I don't know what to say to this.

2009 fucking sucks right now.

I'm so sorry. I went through a similar experience with my grandma and just... the feeling of helplessness is the worst. I know we're on the newer side in terms of friendship, but if you ever want to talk about it just drop me a line.
