Mar. 27th, 2007 02:12 amIt's been insanely warm and humid here. Normally spring consists of soggy cold, but it's been feeling like may for the past week. The lakes even melted already.
God, do you ever get that feeling of homesickness for places that you've only been to for a short time? Cause I miss New York, and I miss Japan so damn much. Don't get me wrong, I love Madison, and I love home, but even for only a couple of weeks I felt so at home in those two places.
I wish I could go back to Shingu and Kyoto. Everything there just felt so right. I don't even realize that I'm missing something until I notice the lack of mountains, tucked-away shrines, massive Yoda trees, sushi bars, and the ocean.
There's nothing like it anywhere else.
