Jun. 8th, 2007 11:36 pmWow. What a week.
So, my sister finally graduated from Princeton. Four days of pomp and celebration and reunions is really tiring. Especially if all of it is held in the rain or massive humidity. But it was neat, especially the comaradery that the school manages to build in it's students. Literally, most Pricetonians are as dedicated to their school and their classmates as a military brotherhood.
On the off note, I met Al Franken. We had a nice conversations about his son and my sister graduating and both being in the same eating club. Also, I am extremely jealous of all the awesome architecture in Princeton. They have gargoyles and gothic arches! Really damn cool looking.
Also, Newark is the dirtiest city I have ever been in. It's funny cause you can see New York across the bay, and the difference between the two is astounding. New Jersey is really everything that everyone thinks it is, and then some. And Philidelpians call snow cones water ice. Kinda weird.
Got back home late wednesday, and had orientation for work today. The job isn't bad, just cleaning schools, and I get weekends and afternoons after 4 off, so it's a great break from the crappy hours of food service and retail that I had before.
And I'm seriously getting everyone I know addicted to Supernatural. My sister, Jamie, Wilson, Wilson's mom, it's kinda awesome. The show is such a great mix of hokey fantasy and fantastic brother relationship and plot that no one can resist.
I really need a better evil laugh.
