Somebody just posted a link to some Christian website on deviant_dev's update to her story on mychemicalslash. The link to the update and comments is on the bottom of my update. It's the third comment down.

It's probably the same person who commented in luluthetomato about how homosexuality is evil and that we're all going to hell for what we do here spamming the community with anti-gay/religious crap. Like that's going to change any of our views on anything.

I know. It was just disgusting. Reminds me of the bigots that we have out here. You just wonder how they can actually believe it.

Homosexuality, like all other types of fornication, has no place in the family of God. Regardless of what modern promoters of "gay liberation" might wish to believe, sexual perversions are not inherited genetically but rather are learned behaviors and willful sins. Like alcoholism and other such sins of the flesh, they may become very difficult to give up for those who have been enslaved by them, but God is able to give deliverance to any who sincerely desire true freedom and salvation.

Hello, haven't they heard that psycologists decided that homosexuality WASN'T a mental illness decades ago? And all that bs about how being gay is a "chosen" behavior. Yeah sure, people just choose to be something that makes them the target of hate crimes/slander/lawsuits/etc.

I posted the whole thing in my lj ... Seriously, that sort of thing makes me sick, and it's not even aimed at me. When I think about the people who are the target of this shit, I want to cry. No-one deserves that. No-one.

I think Jesus put it best: "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" and "love thy neighbour as thyself".

Strange how people can claim to follow Christ's teachings and completely disregard everything the man stood for, isn't it?

I agree with you whole-heartedly. Stuff like this is one of the biggest reasons that I am what I am.

People have turned messages of love and humility into reasons for hate, murder, and war. The hypocrisy of it all stuns me. What we are willing to do to our fellow man is just torturous.

Oh, don't even get me STARTED on Bush. I can't stand that man. Thinking that it's okay to turn the U.S. into the world's biggest bully and hypocrite, let alone not even CARING what this is going to do to our foreign relations and how people view the U.S.

And he wonders why people want to attack us and have anti-U.S. views. It makes me sick to think of how so many people here treat foreigners, especially those that don't agree with the current U.S. policy.
